Who We Are
I'm Ben Prince, the physiotherapist behind Prince Physiotherapy & Performance.
I qualified from the University of Wolverhampton with First Class Honours in Physiotherapy, and I trained across the breadth of the profession, including NHS musculoskeletal outpatients, Trauma and orthopaedics, and elite professional football. Alongside clinical practice, I have had the opportunity to run at a national level, and after experiencing injury after injury, I know how frustrating those setbacks can be; this is where my original passion for physiotherapy stems from.
Why this practice exists
Somewhere along the way, good physiotherapy became something you either waited months for or paid a premium you couldn't justify or simply afford.
I've worked on both sides of that. I've seen NHS waiting lists where a treatable problem becomes a chronic one, because no one could see you in an acceptable timeframe. And I've seen private clinics charge a great deal for treatment plans that were sold rather than justified, courses of ten sessions booked upfront, packages that end when the money does rather than when the patient is fully rehabilitated.
Neither of these are good enough, and I don't accept that they're the only two options.
Prince Physiotherapy & Performance was built on a straightforward premise: the standard of care available in professional sport, should be available to everyone, at a price that makes sense. The same objective testing, the same clinical reasoning, the same standard of rehabilitation, delivered to a runner from the local club, someone on their feet all day at work, or a parent who just wants to lift their child without pain.
That's what "for the people" means, professional treatment and care that’s affordable for all.
